Published about 2 months ago • 1 min read

Hi Reader!

The NCAA men's basketball tournament starts this week and I would like to invite you to fill out a bracket to win prizes from my favorite EdTech companies!

Last year Evan from Davenport, Iowa correctly picked the Washington Huskies to win the tournament and received an awesome prize-pack of EdTech goodies!

🏆 You could be a winner this year!

There is no cost to join and your personal information will NOT be shared with sponsors.

Prizes include:

You MUST submit your bracket before the first round starts on March 21st to participate!

Frequently Asked Questions:

I'm not in the US, can I participate?

Yes, you are welcome to fill out a bracket, but you won't be eligible for the prizes due to shipping restrictions.

I don't know anything about basketball, can I join?

Absolutely! No one has ever picked a perfect bracket. Everyone has an equal chance of winning.

How will the winner be notified?

The winner of the tournament will be notified via email. In the event that the winner is unreachable or unable to receive the prize pack, I will select the next suitable recipient.

Who is running this challenge?

John Sowash is organizing the tournament challenge and will be the final authority on the terms, rules, and winners. This is supposed to be fun, so be nice!

Will you be sharing my information with sponsors?

No. Your email address will not be shared with the sponsors.

Can I share this challenge with others?

I would like to limit this tournament challenge to educators, but you are welcome to invite others by sending them to this form.

Teaching in the spring is challenging: Motivation is low for students and the teachers! 😂 Hang in there, the finish line is approaching. There are some pretty cool updates this month. I'm really interested in trying out "Google Vids" which was announced last week and tabbed Google Docs sounds like something I would use. Those are just two of the...

Hello Reader, About few years into my teaching career, I realized there were some big issues I needed to address: My salary was much too low to support my growing family. I was frustrated by the lack of incentive to improve as a teacher. My work/life balance was getting worse, not better. This is also roughly the time when I heard about the Google Certified Trainer program. I applied, was accepted, and five years later, made the jump to a full-time edtech coach and consultant. I don't know...
