Frustrated with your career? Read this!

Hello Reader,

About few years into my teaching career, I realized there were some big issues I needed to address:

  • My salary was much too low to support my growing family.
  • I was frustrated by the lack of incentive to improve as a teacher.
  • My work/life balance was getting worse, not better.

This is also roughly the time when I heard about the Google Certified Trainer program. I applied, was accepted, and five years later, made the jump to a full-time edtech coach and consultant.

I don't know what the right path is for you, but I do know that investing in your personal growth and development is always a good idea!

Next week I am kicking off the Google Trainer Academy for educators who are looking to move into new roles or supplement their current income as a Google Certified Trainer. Would you like to join me and small group of other teachers?

Academy Details:

  • Dates: April 16 - May 14, 2024
  • Time: Tuesdays, 8-9:30 pm EST via Google Meet
  • Cost: $199/person (CC and PO orders accepted)
  • Includes 12 hours of continuing education credit

Note: this cohort is intentionally limited to 25 participants so that I can provide individual support to everyone.

You can view more information on the course including a full outline by visiting GoogleTrainerAcademy.com.

The Google Trainer program has transformed my career! I'm thrilled to guide a small group of educators on this journey. Let's make this your next big adventure!

Feel free to click reply if you have any questions. I hope you can join me!

Teaching in the spring is challenging: Motivation is low for students and the teachers! 😂 Hang in there, the finish line is approaching. There are some pretty cool updates this month. ✴️ The Google Trainer Academy starts April 16! Join the wait list! ✴️ Hi Reader! This month I have been speaking and thinking a LOT about AI in the classroom including a keynote in Wilmington, Delaware, featured sessions at the MACUL conference, and a series of webinars for a school in New Jersey. While I do think that AI will have a significant impact on the classroom, I do NOT believe it has any chance of replacing teachers as the most part of the classroom. There are quite a few AI related...
